  • Emergency Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains

    Covers evacuation and transportation as directed by a Physician to the nearest adequate medical facility (home in the event of death or if medically required). Injury or Sickness requiring evacuation must occur while on a Trip with a Destination of at least 100 miles from the Insured’s Primary Residence. Pays for special medical escort if recommended in writing by the attending Physician.

  • Medical & Dental Expenses

    Pays up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Schedule of Benefits for necessary medical expenses due to Injury or Sickness incurred while on a Trip. Initial treatment must be received while on a Trip with a Destination of at least 100 miles from the Insured’s Primary Residence. Primary Coverage. (Medical Expense coverage is secondary for residents of FL.)

  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment

    Pays for loss of life or limb due to an accident during your Trip.

  • Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion Waiver

    The Company will not pay for any Loss or expense incurred as the result of an injury, Sickness, or other condition of you, a Traveling Companion, Business Partner, or Family Member which, within the *60-day period immediately preceding and including your coverage effective date: (a) first manifested itself, worsened, became acute or had symptoms which would have prompted a reasonable person to seek diagnosis, care, or treatment; (b) for which care or treatment was given or recommended by a physician; or (c) required taking prescription drugs or medicines, unless the condition for which the drugs or medicines are taken remains controlled without any change in the prescription drugs or medicines.

    The Company will waive this exclusion if you meet the following conditions: 1. You purchase the plan within 15 days (within 21 days for residents of MN), of making your initial trip payment; 2. The amount of Trip Cancellation coverage purchased must equal the full cost of all prepaid, non-refundable payments or deposits applicable to the Trip at the time of purchase and the cost of any subsequent arrangement(s) added to the same Trip must be insured within 15 days (within 21 days for residents of MN), of the date of payment or deposit for any subsequent Trip arrangement(s); 3. You must be medically able to travel when you pay your plan cost; 4. The Trip Cost does not exceed $100,000 per person (only applicable to Trip Cancellation/Interruption).* Day period varies by state and by coverage plan.

  • Trip Cancellation & Interruption

    Provides reimbursement for unused, non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs if you are prevented from taking your trip due to a covered reason.

    Provides reimbursement for unused, non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs if your trip is interrupted due to a covered event. Also provides reimbursement for the additional transportation cost to return home or rejoin your group.

  • Trip Interruption — Return Air Only

    Reimburses the additional airline transportation expenses incurred by you to reach the return destination for trip interruptions.Not Available in (NY, AK, MO, OR, PA, KS, MN, WA)

  • Ticket Change Fee

    Reimburses the fee charged by a Common Carrier for changing a ticket prior to the scheduled Departure Date due to any of the Unforeseen events listed under Trip Cancellation andInterruption, subject to the Maximum Benefit.Not Available in (NY, AK, MO, OR, PA, KS, MN, WA)

  • Trip Delay

    Reimburses up to $300 per day/per person up to the Maximum Limit shown on the Schedule of Benefits for Reasonable Additional Expenses if the insured is delayed for more than 5 consecutive hours due to a covered reason.

  • Missed Connection

    Reimburses up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Schedule of Benefits if Inclement Weather or Common Carrier causes cancellation or a delay of regularly scheduled airline flights for 3 or more hours to your point of departure.

  • Car Rental Collision Coverage

    $35,000 in primary coverage. Covers physical damage to a rental car for which the car rental contract would hold you responsible.Not Available in (KS)

  • Trip Cancellation for Any Reason (Optional Coverage)

    Provides reimbursement of 75% of nonrefundable expenses if you cancel your Trip for any reason, up to 48 hours prior to your departure. (Cancel for any Reason can only be purchased at the time the base plan is purchased and within 15 days of initial trip payment. Coverage must be purchased for the full cost of trip.)Not Available in (NY)

  • Baggage & Sporting Equipment

    Can reimburse you if your baggage or personal effects are lost, stolen or damaged while on your Trip, subject to the Maximum Benefit. Primary Coverage.

    The Company will reimburse the Insured up to: $5,000 for the first item and thereafter, $5,000 per each additional item, $5,000 aggregate on all Losses to: jewelry, watches, furs, cameras and camera equipment, camcorders, computers, and electronic devices. Items over $150 must be accompanied by original receipts.

  • Baggage Delay

    If your Baggage is delayed more than 6 hours, you can be Reimbursed for the purchase of Necessary Personal Effects, up to the Maximum Limit shown on the Schedule of Benefits.

  • Baggage Return

    Reimbursement for shipping expenses incurred for lost or stolen baggage, up to $1,000. Not Available in (NY, AK, MO, OR, PA, KS, MN, WA)

  • Baggage Delivery

    Reimbursement for the Common Carrier delivery charges, up to $1,000. A copy of the delivery invoice and verification of the delay or misdirection by the Common Carrier must be submitted with the claim. Not Available in (NY, AK, MO, OR, PA, KS, MN, WA)

  • Security Evacuation (Premium & Elite Plans only)

    If, as a result of an Occurrence that takes place during an Insured’s Trip and while traveling outside his or her Home Country, an Insured requires a Security Evacuation, the Insurer will pay a benefit to Transport the Insured to the Nearest Place of Safety.Not Available in (NY, AK, MO, OR, PA, KS, MN, WA)

    These services offer on-the-spot and immediate assistance for unexpected problems that can arise during your trip. The hotline operates 24/7 for help anytime, any place while traveling.

    Whatever you need, whenever, wherever you need it, you can call on your own personal assistant to help. Services include tee time reservations, restaurant referrals and reservations, wireless device assistance, sporting or theater tickets, and more.

  • Identity Theft Resolution Services

    If your identity is stolen during your Trip, our emergency travel counselors will assist in contacting your credit card companies, monitoring your credit report and working with local authorities to help you restore your identity. Not Available in (NY)
