Oxygen first aid is considered to be the most effective first aid treatment for a diver injured while diving, after ensuring the diver's airway, breathing and circulation. Several resources are provided in order to improve access to emergency oxygen.
Oxygen Grant Program
Through the Oxygen Grant Program, DAN provides emergency oxygen units to deserving public safety diving teams and/or organizations that can demonstrate critical operational and financial need.
AED Matching Grant Program
Recognizing the life-saving potential of AEDs, DAN established the AED Matching Grant Program to provide matching money to dive operations, dive destinations and dive groups who wish to purchase an AED and make it available to divers.
