Industry veteran brings a wealth of diverse experience to this key position
Divers Alert Network® (DAN®) is pleased to announce that Rachelle Deal has joined the organization as vice president of marketing. Deal is responsible for developing, integrating and executing the organization’s marketing and communication strategies.
Deal comes to DAN from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the world’s largest nonprofit fitness certification organization. As that organization’s vice president of marketing, she oversaw a complete restructuring of ACE’s brand image, launching innovative digital and social marketing programs which helped increase revenues and product sales.
“Rachelle is ideally qualified for this vital position. Her background both in and outside of the dive industry will greatly benefit DAN and be instrumental in moving the organization forward in exciting new ways,” stated William Ziefle, President and CEO of DAN Holdings.
A scuba instructor and avid diver, Deal spent five years as the Marketing Manager at PADI Americas, where she was instrumental in developing the marketing strategy of the popular National Geographic program. Deal has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business from California State University, Long Beach.
