 DAN is now looking at the best ways the organisation can assist dive operations that have been directly affected by the disaster through its mission of dive safety and educational services.
DAN strongly encourages its members to donate directly to reputable aid agencies within their own countries and to support diving tourism in Southeast Asia.
Southeast Asia is a popular dive locale for many Europeans. DAN Europe and DAN Southern Africa have an existing fund to help the families of lost divers in this region.
