IMPORTANT NOTICE: Trip insurance offered through DAN Services, Inc. does not include emergency medical evacuation coverage. If you are already a DAN Member, this coverage is included in your membership as part of the TravelAssist benefit. If you are not a DAN Member, you can obtain emergency medical evacuation coverage by joining DAN.

Galapagos Islands Travelers: Due to possible restrictions on tourism to the Galapagos by the Ecuadorian government, travel to the archipelago may be affected in the near future. Therefore, please verify with your travel and/or diving operators that they are not impacted by these actions before purchasing a trip insurance policy, as government regulations fall under industry-wide general exclusions and would not be covered on any insurance policy.

Known Weather Events: Coverage for losses due to known weather events (named storms) may not be available for trip insurance policies purchased after the storm has been officially named by the National Weather Service.

Unlicensed Travel: Federal law prohibits unlicensed travel to sanctioned countries by U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Therefore, any expenses incurred or claims made related to travel to a sanctioned country are not covered under this plan, unless the insured is traveling under a license issued by the U.S. Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Asset Control.
