Dive Medicine for Divers: Part 2

Dive Medicine for Divers: Part 2 represents advanced knowledge development for divers interested in better understanding diving medical and safety topics. Part 2 builds on the foundation from Part 1 and continues to inform divers about what happens in a diving emergency and how diving affects their bodies, covering topics not normally addressed in basic dive training.

Part 2 of the Dive Medicine for Divers course covers topics such as decompression illness, barotrauma and equipment-related safety issues and includes skill development on taking a blood pressure and using an EpiPen in the event of a severe allergic reaction.
Program Outline
Divers may complete these modules in any order as schedules and opportunities permit. However, the following outline is the recommended program flow.
