DAN began taking calls during the weekend of the tsunami disaster from members who needed medical evacuations, assistance in traveling out of the affected areas and help with lost equipment. As the days passed, more calls and emails have arrived, with frightening, strange and inspiring stories by divers who experienced the disaster firsthand.
DAN South East Asia-Pacific, DAN Europe, DAN Southern Africa and DAN America are all working together to provide up-to-date information on relief agencies, travel updates, dive site reports and divers? stories on one collective site.
