In December 2004, Explorer Ventures Liveaboard Diving announced the acquisition of their new flagship liveaboard dive vessel, the 124' Turks & Caicos Explorer II.
The new luxury vessel accommodates up to 20 passengers and eight crew, with all staterooms feature individually-controlled air conditioning, expansive windows or port lights, and large private ensuite bathrooms and showers. A well-equipped dive deck offers diving services directly from the vessel; a large full-width indoor salon, expansive sundeck, flybridge seating and automatic stabilizers offer a superior level of comfort.
The vessel will take over the itinerary of the Turks & Caicos Explorer I in February 2005, operating from Providenciales and offering five dives daily at Northwest Point, West Caicos and French Cay.
Explorer Ventures' other award-winning liveaboard dive vessels include the Caribbean Explorer II, operating to Saba, St. Kitts, Statia and St. Maarten in the Northeast Caribbean, and Nimrod Explorer, operating from Cairns and Cooktown, Australia to the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea's Osprey Reef.
