In addition to a packed exhibit hall and a renowned film festival, the events features three days of seminars and workshops including: DAN courses in first aid for hazardous marine injuries and oxygen; underwater photography and video workshops, PSI visual cylinder inspection, hazmat training, valve repair and inspector update and more.

Additionally each year BTS sponsors the International Imaging Competition and features the photography at the BTS show.
