This is the second attempt by Gilboa Quarry at the Guinness World Record Title of "Most Divers Submerged At One Time."

This event record is currently held in the Maldives, in the Indian Ocean. The goal is to bring this record back to the United States. Current number of submerged divers is 979.

In Gilboa's previous attempt on July 18, 2009, the event 912 registered divers and 794 in the water! Recenrly, another attempt by Indonesia set the new world record with 2,486 divers.
