DMT Continuing Education Course with optional AHA ACLS
To maintain DMT Certification, you must complete at least four hours Category A (dive medicine specific) education and at least 16 hours Category B (emergency medicine). The remaining minimum four hours can be Category A or B. You must also complete at least 24 hours Emergency Department or EMS observation time for a total of 48 hours.
Course Highlights:
6.75 Category A hours
23 Category B hours
Certification or recertification AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Certification in Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS)
or PreHospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) will be offered.
All textbooks included.
Additional Opportunities:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) will be offered September 21 & 22.
EMS ride 8-12 hours (very limited availability so sign up early).
