DAN Instructor Trainer Workshops (ITW) will be offered three times in 2012 at DAN headquarters in Durham, N.C.: March 9-11, May 18-20 and Aug. 17-19.
The DAN ITW includes the following courses:
- Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries
- Basic Life Support: CPR and First Aid
- First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries
- Neurological Assessment
- Diving emergency Management Provider (DEMP)
- CPR Health Care Provider with First Aid
- Dive Medicine for Divers: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
COURSE PREREQUISITES
- Be a current DAN member
- Be an active DAN Instructor in each course for which you are seeking the Instructor Trainer rating
- PLUS have one of the following:
- Current scuba instructor trainer
- IDC Staff (or equivalent) with DAN Diving Emergency Specialist Instructor
- CPR/First Aid instructor Trainer with DAN Diving Emergency Specialist Instructor
